Have you ever joined a swap you were just so excited about? Did you work really hard to make it special for your swap buddy? Did you not receive anything at all from you swap buddy, not even a thank you or an acknowledgment that they even got your package? Did it really make you mad? Did you try to contact that person with no luck, in fact it seemed like they were doing everything they could to avoid you? Then you are at the right spot.
This is a blog to vent about just that. Now, I know this seems kind of childish, and if you think so and are offended, I sincerely apologize. And I must also say that this is not the place for you.
I love swaps. I love to make up a big box of great stuff and send it off to my buddy. The best part is when they are thrilled to bits and their day has been made. That makes me super happy!
I think it is time that somebody just admit that this bugs the crap out of them. I have been screwed a few times now, and it just makes me so dang gum mad! Every day when the postman comes, I get irritated again because that package still has not made it. And you know what? I have friends who feel the same way!
I know that there is an occasion when it might be the case, you get left out. But you know what, that person is a decent person and is going to explain to you what happened. This garbage about, "Oh, it took the long route, the post can't find it even though I supposedly had a tracking number on it", or no answer or explanation at all, it is just a bunch of bull malarkey! And how about these people who, you find out by making new great blogging friends, that you BOTH got screwed over by!
There are swaps now, where you must have a good rating to even participate. Some require you get a tracking number and you know they didn't. Now come on people, it is TIME TO VENT! Get it off of your chest. Get some support from others feeling the same thing and move on! Don't let it ruin your experience in this wonderful blogging community!
Well, now you can vent about it. I am not asking you to name any names, but I will say that you can post what you like. If you would like to send me a personal email, that is fine as well. I will not post any info that you send me, and I am great for venting to. Or, if you would like to post, but fear it being anonymous, just send it my way and I will post it for you.
Time to get it off of your chest, have a good laugh, or read about others, feel some support and have a giggle yourself. Let's make this time of being screwed over into a positive thing!

oh i am so mad.. spending all the money and time to never get anything back for a swap on flickr..and to join a different swap hoping it would be better to find out some people make such tiny cheap crap and i sent my time and money again.. thank you for the vent..lol
tell me about it. making something by hand does not mean you buy something and put a sticker on it. you can tell when someone puts their all into it, and when someone is just doing as little as possible.
